Role Overview

We’re looking for a Community Manager to build Merge’s treasury community from the ground up – a destination for CFOs, Treasurers, and finance leaders to learn how AI-powered tokenisation and stablecoin infrastructure are transforming cross-border payments, liquidity management, and settlement.

You’ll own the strategy and day-to-day execution: launching social channels, creating content that cuts through, hosting events, and turning engaged community members into pipeline. This is equal parts educator and builder – you’ll make complex topics accessible while growing an audience of senior finance decision-makers who see Merge as the knowledge hub in this space.

What You’ll Own

Community Strategy & Positioning

  • Build and execute a community strategy centred on cross-border payments, AI tokenisation, treasury workflows, and stablecoin settlement

  • Position Merge as the go-to knowledge hub for CFOs, Treasurers, and finance leaders navigating the shift from traditional rails to tokenised infrastructure

  • Develop messaging around liquidity management, FX optimisation, real-time settlement, and how AI tokenisation unlocks new treasury efficiencies

Social Media & Audience Growth

  • Launch and manage LinkedIn, X, and other relevant channels for fintech and treasury audiences

  • Create platform-specific engagement strategies that generate buzz around fiat vs. stablecoin payment flows and AI-driven treasury innovation

  • Grow a targeted audience of CFOs, Treasurers, and Finance Controllers through consistent, high-quality content and community interaction

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Create educational content on AI tokenisation for treasury, fiat vs. stablecoin settlement, cross-border payment rails, liquidity management, and FX cost optimisation

  • Repurpose product updates and regulatory developments into community-friendly insights and explainers

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to produce whitepapers, research reports, and industry comparisons that the community will share and reference

Community Activation & Events

  • Host webinars, AMAs, and roundtables for CFO and treasury audiences on topics like real-time settlement, tokenised payments, and AI in treasury operations

  • Run discussion threads, polls, and debates that drive engagement around payment use cases (B2B payouts, collections, treasury flows)

  • Launch ambassador and influencer collaborations within the fintech and treasury ecosystem

Lead Engagement & Pipeline Support

  • Identify and nurture potential clients interacting with social content and community discussions

  • Collaborate with sales to convert engaged community members into qualified leads

  • Support inbound demand generation by surfacing high-intent conversations and commercial signals

Measurement & Reporting

  • Track audience growth across CFO and treasury segments, engagement quality, and community-driven inbound opportunities

  • Report on community contribution to pipeline and brand visibility in the cross-border payments space

  • Optimise messaging, content formats, and channel strategy based on performance data

Who You Are

You must have

  • 3–6 years in community management, social media, or B2B engagement

  • Experience in fintech, payments, treasury, or financial infrastructure

  • Understanding of cross-border payments, FX, liquidity, fiat rails, and stablecoins – you don’t need to be a treasury expert, but you need to be comfortable in the conversation

  • Experience engaging senior finance stakeholders (CFOs, Treasurers, Finance Controllers)

  • Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex financial and technical topics

  • Experience building LinkedIn-first B2B communities

  • A data-driven approach to engagement and growt

What helps you stand out

  • Experience in cross-border payments or treasury technology

  • An existing network in the treasury or CFO community

  • Familiarity with AI tokenisation, blockchain-based settlement, or digital asset infrastructure

  • Experience running webinars, roundtables, or thought-leadership campaigns for senior audiences

  • Comfort with AI tools for content production, community analytics, and workflow automation
